Who are they?

Wildlife Vets International was founded in 2004 with the aim of helping wildlife veterinarians and conservation projects all around the globe.

Some of the projects they provide funding for include:

  • Training vets in Greece and Spain to treat sick and injured Mediterranean turtles

  • Providing first aid care to the many birds that get injured during the annual International Kite Festival in the city of Ahmedabad in India

  • The reintroduction of pine martens in Wales

  • The reintroduction of Amur leopards in Russia

  • Supporting Painted Dog Conservation in helping secure a future for the African Painted Dog

Why did we choose WVI?

Being passionate about many different wildlife species, it felt unfair to fundraise for just one. WVI is a very respectable charity that we believe knows where money is most needed to fund conservation projects.

The projects they support already provide funding for 2 of Jessi's favourite species: the African Painted Dog and the leopard.
